As the world ages more serious problems start To happen and the decision making gets harder. There are many problems going on in this World and if they’re not solved soon they will get outOf hand and we will wish we would’ve done Something before hand. Marijuana legalization, Abortion, and immigration are all big issues that We are facing today. Marijuana legalization, only passed in two States, Colorado and Washington. Although it is However used for recreational purposes for Those in need, in seventeen other states. U.S. tax Payers have given Mexico $1.3 billion in military And judicial aid over the past seven years to combat Drug cartels. Legalization in the United States will Directly undercut these cartels. Even though Marijuana is a drug it should be a legal drug Because it would help us economically.Abortion is something that takes place every day. People go through with the idea for many reasons. I strongly believe that abortion should stay Legal as long as they take care of it before 8 weeks or have a legit reason to why they cannot keep the child. Some people go off and have sexual Intercourse without really thinking about the Consequences of having a child. There are ways to Prevent that from happening but people now a days aren’t really following through with them. In some cases like rape, abortion is highly needed because no one would be able to look into their child’s eyes and not see the man who raped her. Some girls go of and have sex at young ages and get pregnant. Some keep the child and some follow through with abortion knowing that they cant afford a kid or aren’t in the right mindset to have a kid. If abortion become illegal I think lives would be ruined not for the parents but for children considering some people get them knowing they couldn’t give that baby the life it deserves. Illegal immigration should become legal. That way we wouldn’t have to pay taxes for those who are illegal and they can pay U.S. taxes, themselves. Also that gives us the opportunity to explore to more places without being on restriction. Making immigration legal would help with the economy. As the illegal immigrants increased so did the farming, building Maintenance, construction and food preparation.

Affirmative Action

I think that today affirmative action is irrelevant. Despite it’s success, racial discrimination still exists. If anything I think affirmative action has made the racist angry at the discriminated and cause them to act out in more racial ways. I think this because minorities are given unfair advantages because of the color of their skin. In some cases the standards of some students are lowered because of there ethnicity which is cause for them to do poor in school or not try their best. Because of the affirmative action policies, success is less of an achievement Then success gained from hard work. Affirmative action is suppose to help people from ethnic minorities get jobs and prove they are just as capable as a white candidate. Questions about ethnicity and race are still on applications and until those are completely removed it won’t help at all if someone is racist. There is no point in affirmative action anymore. Affirmative action just makes the racist angrier because of all the unfair rights people are now getting that they didn’t have before. Even though white people had more rights to start, it doesn’t necessarily make it fair that now other ethnicities have different rights. Regardless what this world does and what Policies it comes up with, racism is forever a part of this world. It is sad but it has to be accepted that you can’t always change someone’s views on a human being based of skin color. Everyone should be looked at as equal no matter the ethnicity background.

HIV/AIDS REPORT
Thousands of people were dying in the U.S. Nobody knew what from or how but they did
know that it was something big. After all the research doctors and scientist found out that it it
was a disease that was taking a lot of people's lives. They still didn’t know how it got there or
what it was but they weren't going to stop till they found out exactly what it was and if it could be
fixed or not.
Scientist and Doctors eventually found out what the disease was and called it
HIV/AIDS. It was identified in the U.S. in 1981.The disease is transmitted through sexual contact or blood to blood contact. The virus can not be cured but there is treatment for it. The main victims for this disease were mostly homosexual males and everyone was blaming them for spreading this disease and being the cause.
The HIV/AIDS virus affects people in a variety of ways. It has many harmful symptoms and is spread to anyone who comes within contact either by blood or sexually.People who are diagnosed with the virus are emotionally wrecked because they know they could die at anytime.HIV/AIDS have many high risk behaviors. Some high-risk behaviors include sharing needles, bloody knuckles, cleaning blood or wounds, and blood transfusion.Over half a million people have died from this virus. Most people that carry the HIV/AIDS virus are older,35-49.
There are five stages of the virus. Stage one is exposure. The virus has to be exposed to the body through any sort of high-risk behaviors. Stage two is window period which is when the person is infected with HIV but not tested as positive. Stage three is the asymptotic stage where victims have positive test but the symptoms won't exist and can last for about 8-10 years.
Stage four, the symptomatic stage, the patient will begin to show symptoms such as fatigue, weight loss, nausea, night sweats, and coughing. During stage five, the full blown AIDS the virus is the worst it can get.The persons T-cell count falls below 200 per millimeter of blood.
HIV/AIDS are a deadly and extremely dangerous disease. Two thirds of AIDS victims don’t live past the age of 45.
